Seadogs Program

SeaDogs logo

The Seadogs program is an “extra ball” hybrid between the recreational baseball regular season and travel tournament baseball. All tournaments and practices were designed to work around the recreational baseball schedule. This program is comprised of two separate seasons, a 4-month fall season and also a 5-month spring/summer season. We at Ninth Inning understand the constraints of football and other sports in the fall and wanted to offer two different opportunities. The Seadogs program was designed to have Ninth Inning instructors and coaches continue to develop the skills of the players at the park with the quality which families have come accustomed to from us. This hybrid program keeps kids in the park with their buddies having fun while introducing players to the next level of baseball.

The age cut off determines the appropriate age group that your son will be playing with for the 2017-2018 season.  For example, if you turn the age of 10 after May 1st, 2018, you will play 9U for the 2017-2018 season. If you turn 10 prior to May 1st, 2018, you will play 10U for the 2017-2018 season.

How Lineups Are Decided:
During scheduled tournaments, Ninth Inning staff work with the volunteer coaches to set the lineups for games.  This is to ensure there is no “Daddy Ball”!
